Another year has drawn to a close, and once again we find ourselves planning for the future, but also reflecting on a record year for Alphonso.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all our partners for a great 2019, for all our customers for the continued trust in us and provide an update.

We reached some significant milestones over the past 12 months; adding sixty people to our team in India (focused on Machine Learning, Data Science, Data Engineering etc.) and many more across our global offices. We expect this trend to continue in 2020 as we grow our Sales, Account Management and Marketing teams as well as expand into new markets.

We continued to invest in and grow our Insights business, particularly our local offering where we launched in a further 20 US markets, bringing our total to 26, with plans to launch in San Antonio, Austin and Jacksonville in the coming months. On the media retargeting side, we renewed our partnership with Tremor Video and are seeing strong momentum on targeting on social platforms.

On the customer front, broadcast giant TEGNA selected Alphonso to help their local advertisers better understand the value and effectiveness of their local TV and OTT ad campaigns.

Alphonso continues to take a leadership position on privacy, ensuring our technology stays in compliance with new regulations and ahead of the curve with regard to evolving consumer privacy landscape.

We hosted several oversubscribed webinars and live events covering privacy legislations such as GDPR and CCPA, and our Chief Privacy Officer, Tom Cushing joined panel sessions with industry executives during AdWeek and the TV of Tomorrow event in New York to discuss what this continually changing landscape means for agencies, marketers and technology providers and how best to keep in front of privacy compliance.
