Salesperson, Media Ad Sales

Alphonso Inc has the ad industry’s biggest footprint in TV Data, providing powerful TV to Digital Ad Retargeting, measurement and attribution services for brands, networks, and agencies. Our technology is built to improve TV ad metrics and bridge the gap between TV and Digital. Our proprietary ad platform leverages our massive scale in 1st party TV Data, connecting advertisers to audiences across Smart TV’s and Mobile.

An Alphonso ad salesperson is responsible for building and growing relationships primarily with the largest advertisers and ad agencies in NY, Detroit, Chicago and Los Angeles. Additionally, she/he has an intellectual curiosity and experience in TV Data, TV to Digital retargeting and multi-touch attribution.

In terms of work experience, a salesperson candidate has an existing ad customer portfolio (both advertiser and ad agency). In addition, a candidate is able to:

  • Quickly identify key ad agency and client influencers
  • Quickly understand ad investment decision process
  • An ability to close deals
  • A team player who is always ready to assist our wider team
  • Develop strong relationships with our partners

The ad sales positions are based in NY & Chicago and require customer travel. The salesperson position reports to the CRO, who is based in NY.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop high-level advertiser and ad agency relationships; help provide our customers with outsized results via using a consultative sales approach
  • Create a sales plan to develop advertising revenue
  • Provide a feedback loop re: market trends and industry repositioning

Skills & Experience

  • 1-3 years sales experience at companies in Digital, Mobile, Location or TV Data sectors
  • Well-established industry relationships + well-regarded ability to consistently project and generate revenue
  • Primarily interacting in-person with our ad agencies and advertisers
  • Start-up experience is highly-valued
  • Excellent written, verbal/presentation skills, attention to detail, and customer follow-through
  • Bachelor’s degree
