Sr. Manager or Director, Finance & Operations

Locations: New York

 

We are looking for a multi faceted hands-on finance professional who is comfortable wearing multiple hats to join our Finance & Operations team in Mountain View, CA or New York, NY.

As a fast growing (175 employees) technology company, our DNA is doing things efficiently (do more with specialized tools and support) while enjoying the flexibility, freedom, culture and learnings that come naturally with an exciting platform like Alphonso.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Regular finance and controller tasks – bookkeeping, compile and analyze financial reporting packages, tax, compliance, billings and receivables, payroll, stock administration etc.
  • Manage the accounting & finance team of overseas subsidiary
  • Provide HR support in the areas of recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, Immigration and Benefits Administration
  • Provide other operational support as needed

Requirements/Preference: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum
  • 6-8 years experience in accounting or financial management role
  • Experience in high technology/startup
  • Experience with Netsuite and preferably other tools like bill.com, Asana, Expensify, Carta etc.
  • Hands-on, self-directed with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work closely with senior management team and travel to other offices from time to time.
  • Location: Mountain View, CA or New York, NY
  • Position can be Sr. Manager, Director or VP level depending on candidate experience
